A brief description of our church
Jim Sanders American missionary started his ministry in Hungary in 1990. In October 1994 he founded Love of Christ Congregation which since 1998 has been operating as a registered church (hereafter KSZE) under the name of Love of Christ Church.
The church first received the certificate of merit offered to the members of the organization from the Full Gospel Fellowship of Churches and Ministers International in 2000 and has received it every year since then.
Our church is committed to preach the Gospel of Jesus Christ.
”… I am not ashamed of the Gospel of Christ, for it is the power of God unto salvation to every one who believeth… For therein is the righteousness of God revealed from faith to faith…“ (Romans 1:16-17)
Besides, it considers praying for the sick an important assignment. Because of this it pursues an intense activity in Hungary, just as in Slovakia, Ukraine, Romania, Serbia and Slovenia. Its main operational areas are:
Regular church services and evangelisms held by the evangelists and pastors of the church
Prayer meetings
Hospital ministries
Prison ministries
Homeless ministries
Children and youth ministries
Social ministry and ministries in old people’s homes
In addition, KSZE takes care of and publishes several Christian books, edits voice and video recordings and makes them available for the public. It publishes a church magazine quarterly. As a dynamically developing organization it is also accessible on youtube.com and facebook.com pages.
Prayer of Rebirth
The most important question of your life: Do you know what will happen to you after your death? One day every one faces physical death. Life however continues after physical death as well: the spirit and soul of man continue to exist. Do you know where your spirit and soul get after physical death? According to the Bible there are two places: one of them is heaven, the other one is hell. What decides then where we go? If you think you go to heaven according to your good deeds, you are wrong Dear Reader! Furthermore, if you think you have done so many bad things in your life and committed so many sins that there is no chance for you to get into Heaven then you are wrong also.
There is no sin that could keep you from going to heaven. On the other hand you cannot go to heaven only because you have done so many good things in your life.
What determines then where we get?
Jesus only mentions one condition: You must be born again. (John 3,7)
You may ask, How could I be born again? Nikodemus didn’t understand Jesus’ words about the rebirth either, because he asked, How can a man be born when he is old? Can he enter the second time into his mother’s womb, and be born? (John 3,4)
Jesus answered in this way, That which is born of the flesh is flesh; and that which is born of the Spirit is spirit. (John 3,6)
For your spiritual rebirth God has payed an enormous price, he gave His only begotten son, because He loved you so much, and He longed so much to be in fellowship with you again.
For God so loved the world (you), that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever (you) believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life. (John 3,16)
That’s wonderful. God worked out the way for you so that you can be saved. You have to know that there is no other way to the Father, only through Jesus Christ. No one comes to the Father except by Me — Jesus says. (John 14,6)
Neither belonging to church, nor following religious traditions, nor good works, nor perfect lifestyle can lead to the Father. Only one way can lead to the Father: Jesus Christ. Man is not able to save himself. Man needs a Saviour, a Redeemer. That is why Jesus came.
For your salvation – for your rebirth – you don’t have to do other thing than to accept Jesus Christ, the son of God in your heart as The Saviour. If you would like to ask Jesus to be The Saviour of your life say the following prayer.
The Bible teaches: we need to confess our faith. So don’t just say this prayer to yourself, but speak it out loud.
Dear heavenly Father, I come before You in the name of Jesus. You say in your Word:
“That if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus,
and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised him from the dead, thou shalt be saved.” (Romans 10,9)
I believe in my heart that Jesus Christ is the Son of God.
I believe that Jesus died for my sins.
I believe that Jesus was raised from the dead,
for my justification.
I ask you Jesus, be my Lord!
I ask you Jesus, be my Saviour!
I ask you Jesus, be my Healer!
According to your Word, “For with the heart man believeth unto righteousness;
and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation.” (Romans 10,10)
I believe it in my heart and now I confess my faith with my mouth:
Jesus is my Lord.
Jesus is my Saviour.
Jesus is my Healer.
I am Saved.
Thank You, Lord Jesus for my eternal life. Amen.
